I think you're quite correct about libertarians constituting a small percentage of the population, unfortunately in my view.

Hayek and a dose of Charles Murray on the spontaneous development of extended orders made me a believer in liberty. Without coercion, divergent groups will tend to interact commercially to their self-interest. Dopers and boozers and church-goers and assorted others may shake their fists at each other, but they'll self-segregate adequately to get along to the maximum extent possible.

A policy of MYOFB maximizes a civil and prosperous society in my experience.
