The self-interest of the preferred shareholders was a low conversion figure to maximize their number of shares; and short sellers helped achieve it. How else would they play it? Proving insider stock manipulation is very difficult and very expensive. The only winners are the lawyers and if one recovers legal costs in a class action settlement they'll be lucky.

Now, however, the self-interest of both the preferred and common shareholders is for a rising IATV. My read is that they'll take IATV up another dollar or two before they do the same (or warrant play) again.
