To All. There is a psychological state that a group gets into called
group think. This is a state when everyone in a group(or a thread) thinks the same way. It is akin to peer pressure, but done not so much out of fear, but rather to preserve the psychological comfort of the group. As with individuals(witness Marv Albert), when such a state is reached, a feeling of invincibility strikes the group. By the time someone realises the folly of the group's very irrational exuberance(apologies to Alan Greenspan), it is too late.

I fear this thread is getting to such a state. Most everyone is bullish on INTEL all of the time. I can state several other symptoms, but leave it to every member on the thread to make an honest objective judgement.

I hate to say this but as long as we have members like Vinod K, who persistently tries to drive paranoia into this thread, it is a blessing in disguise. Let us not kill the voice of dissent, but rather have the courage to draw our own conclusions from it.

I like to end this with a paraphrase of Andy Grove, when everything is hunky dory, that is when you need to start worrying.
