Rebel, I hope the guy wins.

I'm pretty much a Libertarian. I don't think there should be any laws against personal use or misuse of drugs. Further, I'm of the opinion that the "war on drugs" has become an industry of its own, and there are a lot of rice bowls depending on "fighting drugs." Like the tax system, it empowers the government against citizens, and allows the use of unconstitutional tools. Drug dealers and tax evaders have more cards stacked against them than, say, bank robbers, when it comes to being prosecuted.

All that said, I don't plan to mount my charger to fight against what I see as excessive governmental influence over private citizens. The main reason for my reluctance to join the fight is the people I would be supporting. I don't want to join that particular crowd even though I agree with their cause.
