Sam,

I also owned 3COM when they spun off Palm. I remember that for a brief moment in time, the value of 3COM did not go down to reflect the spin-off and I was holding both. I remember thinking I should sell one or both, but by the time I got to it, the market woke up and I lost all that value.

Speaking of semi equipment makers...Have you followed FORM?
