It may be that they were working at night so that they could communicate with the UAE region on their time zone. It sounds like 9pm ET is 6am Dubai. That's pretty late at night to have to start a work day. Also the second article said, "nothing made any sense". I can relate to that for sure, things still don't make sense. But I can't help feeling like some of this bizarre behavior we are experiencing is a collision of cultures. Maybe middle Eastern business dealing remain vague and ambiguous intentionally, until later when some unspoken line is crossed, when suddenly the potential business partners become "committed" to each other in a pact,....and then the upfront info starts to flow... I don't know, just trying to make sense of it....
