I went home to Cornwall to see where my family came from. Our house still stands, although we left it in 1901, and the chickens and ducks and geese who live there seem rather comfortable. The new house, build next door in 1922 seems far more comfortable and more gracious. The old house about as big as my living room and dining room, housed 13 people in the old days.
We don't celebrate that part of our culture. But we celebrate Jamaican Culture. A culture where people get murdered during elections, and we promote Haitian Culture, how many times have we tried to civilize Haiti with no reasonable effect. We promoted Serbian and Bosnian culture, so that we had to mount guards on the Serbian cultural center in case of attack by the Bosnians. and now we promote Muslim Culture and try to accommodate them.
It is time we woke up. The culture in Jamaica is hostile, drug ridden, poverty stricken and people get killed there regularly. The culture of Haiti is not even that nice, and the Culture of Muslims is violent oppressive and Muslims commit Genocide just because they can. Muslims do not allow opposition, or religious freedom where they control the government. It is time to say to our Muslims adapt or go home. If you want to drive a cab, obey the rules or find another job. Dogs here work, they are eyes and ears for people who need them, adapt or find another job. In our culture people who wear masks are either surgeons, or bandits. If you are not in surgery or committing a robbery, don't wear them, there is an option, stay home, or go home. Our culture, our way of life has provided more food, more wealth, for more people than any culture in history. We are doing something right. Get with the program or get out. Any politician who disagrees, needs to get a different job. |
