I'm sorry which point did you miss? 1. Oil companies don't deserve corporate welfare. They should pay their fair share of taxes just like everyone else. 2. Republicans didn't do a damn thing to promote energy independence in the 6 years that they had total control of the house and senate and presidency. 3. Reagan and republicans are the ones that have stood in the way of alternate energy development. 4. Why do republicans think that government handouts are the answer to our energy problems?
