Thanks for info on the chip set for the PII266.

On the Brio what is the DP4N/S? All I see is the 801X, 803X and 817X series. The 8012 is the sub $1K unit and it competes poorly for value with the Presario's under $1K.

One thing you can count on is for HP to build quality. I will not buy a Presario simply because it "feels cheap" in my hands. HP's keyboard is a much nicer unit. Maybe that is too subjective but it has always kept me from buying other brands.
