Democrats are getting smarter, although with not that much more love for the military. I think their real view is more like Clinton's (i.e. they loathe the military), but they know it is a loser to publicly hate the troops.

They also have figured out that gun control is a loser of an issue. But I WILL NOT FORGET THAT THIS IS SIMPLY AN EXPEDIENCY.
