Good info, on a question impossible to answer. For the record, I have done well, with long options, when the stock trend was solid, and the Call 3 or 4 months out. You are right about most "expiring worthless", and the higher risk. I did learn that you cannot freak out when the stock is down 2% and the option drops 20%. If the trend is intact, stay! Sit. Heel!! I am learning about covered calls because I have not some so well with them. I hope to learn more here. Thanks for your patience.
