I have some problems with your chart. 1st: Franco Nevada (fwiw, a pure GOLD royalty stream) merged with Newmont a few years ago (that in itself makes your chart irrelevant), 2nd. The combination of Franco & Newmont created the worlds largest GOLD miner. 3rd. The combination of the two, have created political risk, which is shown in the charts (Russia etc & other 3rd world contries. 4th. GOLD IMHO will not get going, unless Newmont joins in the fun. 5th. Newmont & by extension GOLD looks pretty sick here, before GOLD can resume its rocket phase. (not just Newmont, take a look at GG, ABX, etc, ...Newmont needs to jump and clear a few hurdles here
