Judging by Gold COT futures and options, open interest has only modestly increased over the past few weeks. I think your predominant theme is that the "professionals" crouch, waiting to leap at the throats of gullible, naive speculators at opportune times of their choosing. I don't think the market is anywhere near a speculative extreme, more likely to meander in a trading range for a while before achieving another interim high around 650/660. Just an opinion.
