S50 Fire Hazard? (Wonder if this has been fixed in the Stiletto????) You guys thought your S-50's were bad.... My S-50 would only get a signal about 1/2 the time, it would turn off randomly going down the road, + the many other complaints that everyone gets.... updates didn't fix anything.... and one day IT CAUGHT MY CAR ON FIRE!!! Yes.... I was sitting there at daycare waiting on my wife to get the little one when I smelled something, looked down and saw that the power adaptor had caught on fire on the top section and started my center console on fire!! I was able to put it out (but not before it caused close to two thousand dollars in damages), and instantly called Sirius to get a new one. They told me that since I had called at least 2x a month since I got the unit, that they were going to send me a new one... That was (if I remember that far back) IN JUNE! It is now almost DEC!! I've called 3 weeks in a row and have been told a NEW one is on it's way and will be shipped with in 48 hours.... still nothing and just got off the phone with them again and they said they are going to 2nd day air it.. let's see if anything EVER gets here....... Between Comcast cable and Sirius my head has hurt from bad service for 5 months now..... Will the pain ever end??? siriusbackstage.com
