Gentlemen, don't we see the proverbial end of year sale of Maxam coming? What little I know about 'shorting' the sell high buy low never sounded legal (selling what you don't own) is upon us. Each year a few stock holders sell their losses for tax purposes. Would that not explain some of your queries?
If memory serves me right over 100,000 shares will sell during the last 14 business days of the year.
But what do I know, I'm just a Teacher in Tennessee.
