Since I'm on the ground in Saudi Arabia I though I'd try to chase down the Wessal/Red Sea Group connection. Here is what I've found so far:
1) I tried the Sulja investor relations number listed in the Aug 9th PR which said "Sulja Bros. investor relations, through Wessal International, can still be reached at (44) 203 002 3884. That number was answered by a message machine. A friendly British chap said this was Sulja and to leave a message and he'll call back. It's been a day now and he hasn't called back.
2) I tried Jeddah information to get a number for both Wessal and Ahmed Khalil Muslmani. When I called in english the operator had no listing for either and went as far as to tell me there are no Muslmani's listed in Jeddah at all. I had an Arab friend try also; he was given a disconnected number so we called again and were given a different number. The second number never answers. I've tried it a dozen times in the last 20 hours.
3) I did an internet search on Red Sea and came up a phone number for the "North Red Sea Group" in Cairo. That phone never answers either.
4) I tried the UAE phone book for Sulja, Wessal, and Red Sea. I found two red Sea listings that might have to do with construction: Red Sea General Transport in Abu Dhabi and Red Sea Housing in Dubai. I called both and neither knew anything about the Red Sea Group, Wessal, or Sulja.
5) I tried the Dubai Commercial Directory link suggested on this board. No listings for Sulja or Wessal but there were a number of Red Sea listings. The 3 most likely were:
A)Red Sea Building Materials = doesn't know anything about Sulja or Wessal.
B) Red Sea development Enterprise who's e-mail address was @redsea-group.com. I spoke with the office manager, Cristina, and she spoke with her supervisor. Our e-mail exchange after our phone conversation follows:

Dear Mr. XXXXX:

Reference to your e-mail, please be advised that we are not associated with any of the companies mentioned bellow and we are not in the Stock Market. However, please be informed that there is at least one other company carrying the Red Sea name here in UAE.

For details on the other companies with similar name, please feel free to contact the UAE Directory.

Best regards,

Mrs. Cristina V.

Cristina,

Thanks for your help. I just spoke to you on the phone inquiring about the Sulja Brother’s Design Depot. I would like to get a phone number & address for the Sulja store. I live in Saudi Arabia and would like to visit the store next month when I travel to Dubai. Sulja Brother’s is a Canadian company I’ve invested in and they’ve indicated they were associated with the Red Sea-Group. Since I couldn’t find a phone number for Sulja in Dubai, I thought I’d try the Red Sea-Group.

As I understand it Sulja Brother’s and the Red Sea-Group are both partially owned by a parent company called Wessal International. I’ve also been told Wessal is owned by Mr. Ahmed Khalil Al-Muslmani from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Is Mr. Al-Muslmani your company’s Saudi partner? I’m becoming a little concerned about my investment, any info or help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again,
--XXXXXX

C) Red Sea International = I spoke with the secretary there and she knew nothing of Wessal or Sulja. She referred me to her boss William Malang. I spoke with him and also knew nothing of Wessal or Sulja but said he'd speak with is superiors and see if they had any info about Sulja. I'm waiting for his e-mail response. None of the other Red Sea listings looked very promising.

Hope this helps,
