I watched part of a show last night about Iran with Ted Coppell.

A military defeat of Iran wouldn't be terribly difficult but would involve destroying the entire infrastructure of the country and would then unleash an insurgency much stronger and larger than the one faced in Iraq. The insurgency would be better armed with more powerful weapons in a country larger than Iraq so it would require many more soldiers to patrol it.

There is a democratic movement currently evolving in Iran independent of the US. That movement needs to be left alone to slowly grow and change Iran internally through the natural evolutionary process.

The young women of Iran are especially becoming revolution minded. They wear bikinis under their robes. When the women know how powerful a the bikini can be in a male dominated society , change in that society is unavoidable!! LOL

The Iranians talked about how the only goods not getting into Iran is American made. All other countries are trading with them and their society is not harmed at all. The goods they buy are generally half the price of the American made similar object. Perhaps it's not as high quality but they are making do with what's available.

Several Iranians were interviewed and all said, " If you think Iraq has been a quagmire, wait until you attack Iran."

They all believed that the Bush administration is trying to provoke a fight with their country.

Perhaps the last election will alter that course.

Perhaps, Israel will be the one to force policy and attack without our help.
