Well you know zoo york.
THat could well be me, because thats why I go: to hang out and sit, well mostly surf on the beach.
Thank you for that smart and realistic post. It makes good sense.
I have been traveling their by car and trailer, living on remote beaches for three years now and it has been wonderful. Some of the roads are a little skitzo but otherwise no complaints.
I do have fears of this new political problem as it only takes one uninformed radical freik to mess everything up for you.
BUt when it comes to mining and business in Mexico it seems clear they would all understand that us northerners provide jobs.
But they also see a lot of the money leaving town.
In my personal travels I see local craftsmen in Guerrerro (sp?) building huge mansions for northen whities for 10-11 bucks a day. They are not happy.
the atmosphere is not the same as when we were in Asia in the early 90s.
THere is resentment.
We travel light and cheap and their is usually no problemo as we don't have much to turn heads.
Still I don't think I will be putting any money back in till after I see what inauguration day brings.
