But your post (I thought) was to support a poster's association of AMD chips with increased Dell profits, or impressive results. If you agree that AMD had little to do with Dell's last quarter results, then no big deal. This is your post ---------- There may not be a direct link between Dell's revenue/profit and their use of AMD. But it would be odd if there wasn't since Dell decided to put one as the headline and the other as the subheading (or whatever you call it). ------------ How can AMD contribute to Dell's profit last quarter ? Dell wasn't selling hardly any models with AMD chips (qurater ending Oct 31, '06) ?
