You either dont read my posts or you just have very weird logic and bad math. My ISP costs $ 30 a month for 100 hours not $ 20 an hour, I dont spend time on-line reading magazines, I use the News groups and the Web and sometimes IRC. A good portion on my time is spent on SI. I have witnessed AOL first hand, they were terrible, and most people I know who had AOL dumped them after about a month for a local ISP, the few remaining people I know who use AOL use it only for E-mail or the chat rooms, only one person that I know uses it for its so-called unique features. I can get other local ISP accounts for less but I pay the extra $ 10 a month because TIAC gives me 10 megs of disk space for my homepage. I have never subscribed to AOL, my first account on-line was Delphi, then I went to Netcom, and then to my current provider TIAC.
Not to be rude but based on your logic from this post and past posts I understand why you feel AOL if such a great bargain. I think you really dont know any better.
Once again if you love AOL so much why do you have another e-mail address?? Or maybe you know that your school account is much faster accessing data on-line then AOL could ever be.
