I'm getting so darned lazy any more. I bought already mashed potatoes for the very first time, and also bought a Costco pumpkin pie, but I am going to make an apple cobbler from scratch Thanksgiving Day. I can hear the complaints now. I will just tell them that if they don't like already made mashed potatoes............don't eat them. LOL

I'm keeping it really simple this yr serving Turkey with stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, candied sweet potatoes, cranberries, rolls, olive/veggie plate, green beans, (wish more like brussel sprouts and I'd have them) pie and cobbler with whipped cream and vanilla ice cream. With this kind of meal there isn't allot of advance prep work.......most of it is done on THE day.

Daughter in law is bringing chex mix and I have an already wrapped Brie with walnuts and figs in puff pastry prepared for appetizers.

My kids have gotten really hooked on on-line poker, so I guess we will be playing some real life poker as soon as someone gets the dishes cleaned up.

I like the idea for your flower arrangement. I might choose a gold bow.
