Icebergs might be a sign of ice melting closer to the poles, so could be taken as a sign of warming. But I did a google search the last time you mentioned this, and discovered that there are reports from the early part of the last century of bergs reaching further south in New Zealand than recent reports. One swallow doesn't make a spring, and a few icebergs don't make a warming or cooling.

I don't think you were the first to think of the the albedo effects of snow and plant cover in '87, but no one is currently presenting evidence that the earth's climate is cooling. If you present your data formally, explain why local bergs suggest global cooling, and refute earlier reports of bergs further south, you will make a big splash. But it will take work.

I'm not saying that an iceage isn't a concern. Anytime you disturb an unstable dynamic system, you can't be sure where the new equilibrium will lie.

My last post had a graph of Co2 levels. It's the most solid piece of environmental data there is. There's no sign of an inflection point that I can see. Here's the story of the man who produced the graph, and there's a copy of his graph.http://scrippsnews.ucsd.edu/article_detail.cfm?article_num=687. I'm proud to say that I knew David Keeling, ate lunch with him many times, and visited his home a few times.
