Mark Lipacis is ranked as having the 3rd most accurate estimates of all analysts (33 of them!) covering AMD - finance.yahoo.com 5 stars What's your ranking? But I don't care who the analyst is. Any economist will tell you that a company with high inventories in a high fixed-cost business (Intel) will have its future gross margins reduced as it liquidates its inventory, while a company with low inventories (AMD) will have its future gross margins increased as it rebuilds inventories to normal levels.
