Possibly because they didn't examine it, and were just over-excited to post an item of good news on their stock that has fallen 50%, and just can't seem to get up. Then they are told about their mistake. And none of them bothers to supply a correction. One of them posts another obviously false non-sense that he just made up. He is told about it, and doesn't bother to correct it. It is interesting to me because it sheds light about how people deceive themselves into believing falsehoods. We have a social experiment in progress!
