Umm, LBJ hasn't been president for decades. I guess you have been out of the loop.

His war on poverty cut the poverty rate in half, as I have shown several times. I guess those posts had too many big words, huh?

Now I will grant you, poverty is making a comeback under Bush. To the point that the administration is trying to newspeak it away. So we don't have the hungry any more, we have Americans with "low food security"...
