The difference is in the time it takes the page to load every time it is opened. The intro loads first and with my antique 14.4 modem I have to wait 5-10 seconds each time I visit the thread before I can start reading. I agree that it is valuable info but it only needs to be read once and then occasionally refered back too. It would save a lot of time if it were moved to the first post and a brief intro pointed the new reader to post #1 as a must read. It just makes the thread more efficient. I've seen 3 or 4 other threads that made this change and it seems to work well. It's an interesting company to say the least. dz
