I've been to Arlington, and have taken the tour, but I have never seen a funeral at Arlington, so missed the horses. I recall seeing a few pictures of Marines in Afghanistan riding horses with tribal members when we went in to take out the Taliban. Horses will always play a role in the military, but that role has certainly gotten much smaller. Neat links and interesting story about Robert Mouw and his horses.
