Yes, exactly. It's really this one issue of energy independence through renewables that lead me to turn against Bush. I started out disagreeing with his solution to terrorism, through conquest of the Middle East and enforced Democracy. Then that disagrement spread to every other major policy initiative he has. It all is so misguided. If you make energy independence your central goal, it's amazing how that guides so many other policies.
