In my view it is a NO BRAINER to realize that the LAST thing either Syria/Iran or Hezbollah would want to do at this time is to would be to assassinate Gemayel as those parties do not want a civil war and Lebanon.
However it is highly in the interest of Israel for civil war in Lebanon and to implicate Syria.
The Mossad is ruthless, the assassination of Gemayel falls under Mossad's ethic of the ends do justify the means, no matter what those means might be.
Mossad is a prime suspect, imo.
That this is a real possibility; no, let's make that a definite probability is just another red flag warning that the Hard Boys have a vice grip on Israel's "peace plan".

Olmert last week said the question of relinquishing the West Bank is a dead issue, it will NEVER happen.

This decades old unverified rumour is that if Israel ever is being overrun in a military conflict, it will unleash their nuclear arsenal and take down everybody including themselves.

It has been rumoured since 1967, that Israel has had this policy of, if ever a time comes, and they are being over-run and going down to defeat, at that moment they will unleash their nuclear weapons.
