Hey, I love tax cuts as much as the next guy, and I am a Newt fan, as you know if you have followed some of my past posts on the guy.

Like most people, I am profiting currently by the higher equity markets and solid job market.

But the republicans, in my view, had a golden opportunity to both hold a chunk of their voting base together, keep some promises....and show genuine conservative values...by cutting spending. Or just holding it steady.

But it has grown..and the percentage of growth (9%) last year is much higher than either of clinton's first two years. It's the highest level since Lucky Lyndon was in office. And, to follow your points from earlier, it is a 9% increase on a much higher base.....yikes.
