So even if we assume that you couldn't get enough of the p5p through "vitamin b6", why wouldn't the p5p given in the mc-1 formulation simply get rapidly dephosphorylated and reach normal equilibrium between PL <-> p5p? Alkaline phosphatase isn't exactly an enzyme in limited amounts, and by giving the body excess p5p, you favor the products of the dephosphorylation reaction rather than sustaining the phosphorylated form produced from the opposite kinase reaction.
