Bloomfield, I like your style...WillP, good work as usual... I appreciate the fact that you two are "Keeping it Real". Observation: A Global Economic Recession or worse is not unrealistic, in fact probable in the next 2 to 3 years. The Middle East is heating up,thanks to Iran and the Islamic crazies Nuclear ambitions, this may fuel the new Global Recession, Oil will go thru the roof as an outcome. Unfortunately the largest Diamond buying population in the world, the USA, will suffer the most from this Recession. This fact will set Diamond sales back in a very big way. DeBeers are masters at longterm survival and now that they are decentralizing their World Wide Brain Trust they will become even more susceptible to Localized economic conditions... Unless they are willing to cough up a Billion and a half or more for Marginally valued diamonds it is unlikely the GK will become a mine in the next 20 years or so.....
