Why do you say Bush lied? Do you think Bush knew the Repubs would lose in so many places? Or do you think he should have accepted Rumsfeld's resignation a week or two BEFORE the election....you know, the one that he had offered so many times?

I must admit though, I for once agree with Novak....GWB did not handle the termination of Mr. Rumsfeld well. Not well at all.
