Now that the township has auctioned off all surface assets, and most of the buildings are gone except the mill which was bought by Sid MacDougall of Alex MacIntyre and Associates, mining contractors based in Kirkland Lake, I wonder if the new owners of the surface rights will be looking into building a new mill for some of the local mines such as Armistice Resources, Cheminis Mine (NFX Res. Alex is involved in this one too), Battle Mountain,, etc... The tailings are already there and it would probably make it easier to get M.O.E. approval. Just something to think about because I heard that some locals were looking into buying a mine/mill near WAWA, Ontario, perhaps to relocate it to Virginiatown.

The AJ Perron employees are trying to sue Alex through the United Steel Workers union in Philadelphia and they are digging up some dirt about the old Kerr. Let me know if you are interested in the outcome of the AJ Perron and area case.

Steve.
