All is good Pat.
It was more like who's ass did I save from bailing!!
My Coleman 5K-watter saved about 4 basements + mine :-)

I did manage to burn out the rotor of the generator after a few days. The lead wire cooked where it connected to the rotating contact plate (you know the plate where the brushes ride),..obviously it was from overloading it.

Nevermind those "breakers" you see on the front of these generators they don't work well when you overload the Gen - that is what the tech guy from Coleman told me!!
(so why are they there?...hummm)
He said for when it gets HOT??? WTF..?? They are temperature sensitive he says -- so wouldn't you think overloading it would get it HOT enough to trip one?
NOPE!! I found that out the hard way!

All is good --...a little wrenching - puling the rotor shaft out then a small soldering job, some testing w/multi-meter and I'm ready for another storm
- Bring it on you Bitch Mother Nature, I'm ready!!

Ps...look at the Banks, they are RIPE for the picking.
Rate environment, slow growth, housing market slow = earnings are going to SUCK 6-12m forward if nothing changes.
BKS 112-110 breakdown and it's toasty time for da-Banks. (IMHO)
