i don't see Negroponte or Hadley or Cheney, for instance, as being innately Zionist, as they are hardcore American Empiricist first and foremost; but they sure as hell are going to support the rightwing of Israel because they need them and need them badly.
People like Negroponte and Hadley and Cheney are not run by Israel but they sure as hell help them as Hardside Zionism happens to benefit there own ambition for what they want America to be.

But as you say the Democratic Party having many Zionist sympathizers the party itself will never muster the unity and passion needed to roust out the neocons and IMPEACH Bush.
The Clintons are a major part of the Zionist sympathizers that are a major cause that the democratic party to be gutless.
i subscribe to magazine The Nation, and you can tangibly feel much of the why liberalism is failing in the U.S., as The Nation has yet to actually DENOUNCE ISRAEL and call it a nation that has government is in the hands of what amount to Jewish Nazis.
They have yet failed to declare themselves Pro-Palestian and Anti-Zionist.
They do allow a couple columnists to write strong opposition to Israel but the editorial policy i would say is don't ever officially denounce Israel as being a country in the hands of racist ready and willing to destroy the Palestinian people, and arabs in general, for that matter. This fence sitting in the end is doing much to allow the neocons to remain in the halls of power.
i will say only the Impeachment of Bush and eradication of infestation of neocons in the centers of power can save this country and this world from heading to a disaster.
As of yet i do not know what can occur to electrify the public and create the pressure to accomplish Impeacnment, so my view of the future remains bleak. Max90
