You have to hit those 14's sometimes. Although 14 is a bad hand, if you stand on a 14 when the dealer has an 8 showing, the dealer will have a standing hand without having to even take a hit almost 50% of the time. IF you have a 14 and the dealer has a 9 showing, the dealer will have a standing hand over 50% of the time without even taking a hit.

All that game is is math.
