I see you REPOSTED the statistics I'd referenced, didn't deny anything... but other then that made no reference at all to them.

Try rereading then. I said divided government is what we had during Reagan/Bush and that single party control during Carter and any particular benefit you like to derive from the numbers during those years(Carter) are doubtful in value since the times and conditions were not worthy of repeating. Also the general theme was that the conclusions you drew could be characterized as bullshit, or more mildly put, formulated to suit yourself.

Referencing historical data without adding the climate of the day is dishonest work. No one with a lick sense wants to go back to Carter days, as a prime example, no matter if you can dig up a positive ratio.
