The only thing I liked about the potential merger would have been for NewMarket to get listed on the Nasdaq as there is more activity on that exchange with the market maker system, rather then the AMEX where the company would only have one specialist. I have seen so many companies go on the AMEX and then their stock price stagnated or fell from lack of activity. I think the Nasdaq is a better exchange for the company.
