| Iraqis are not killing each other because they got a bad deal by the removal of Hussein, and were taken advantage of. The dems have to be responsible for their own behavior in this situation. Among the most important, the democrats allowed terrorists to split and divide our national will. The terrorists perceived that they had allies here, as did Iraqi factions. How often have OBL and the left quoted each other. Unbelievable. (Hehe, so does Obrador in Mexico, lol. That is a parody of the left here that is so funny. SNL should have thought of it.) In the end, a free for all resulted. Would that have happened in the face of a united, resolute US in Iraq? Maybe the Iraqis would have chosen to fight each other anyway, and divide the spoils as best they could. I am not blaming the dems for that Iraqi behavior. They are responsible for that themselves. I am, however, ashamed that the dems behaved just like the Iraqis. Given an opportunity, they elected to side with anyone to try to consolidate their own power, and too bad for the other players in the issue. Let's cut the Iraqis loose. They have to fend for themselves, because we see an opportunity to blame our own opposition internally and regain power here. Iraqis have to sort it out on their own. That is no different than what happened in Iraq. Dems are taking care of themselves. The only benefit is the relative peace and quiet on the left since the election. You claim a mandate now to change course, yadayada. Kicking and screaming has run its course. It's no longer cute. You don't get any more candy for it. No more Michael Moore documentaries are going to sell. Time to go to school now, and that don't play well there. |
