advancedphotonix.com. API is an high end optics play with a small float of circa 16 million. They are the market leader in 40gbs optical routers and a major player in the 10gbs market. This has lead to speculation of a CSCO takeout for 3.75 in cash. Also, API is the leader in Teraherz, next generation xray technology with multiple applications in defense, transportation security and the medical industries. Teraherz is just about to hit the mainstream media, API is releasing its next generation scanner within the next 4-5 months.
