It's also related to an escalating cycle of revenge and reprisal. It's fairly typical of such dynamic systems. Anyone else familiar with the escalating violence during the partition of India? Hello people. You can see the same sort of escalating perturbation of the system. And that didn't have anything to do with US elections. It's just the way human systems seem to become destabilized. The Balkans probably tipped in a similar manner and I'm sure we could find examples from Africa as well- again, having nothing to do with US elections. Some people can be so Amerocentric. While we started the ball rolling and destabilized the system now that it is spiralling out of control I don't think the Iraqis are paying much attention to anything other than their own rage, and fear.
