The rightwing GOP championed gerrymandering which protected most incumbants despite a landslide vote against the Bushie rightwing. If not for Gerrymandering since 1994, 75 Republicans would have been thrown out of office. And probably zero democrats. democrats have earned their chance to lead and do it right. The GOP rightwing had six years of total power and completely blew it on just about every level imaginable.
