"it will help some of the plakton in the oceans" This is a profoundly ignorant statement. The decrease in pH would be very detrimental. Anyone who claims different hasn't the slightest clue as to phytoplankton. For those that have calcium carbonate exoskeletons, they run the risk of it dissolving. Which robs them of part of their flotation mechanism.
