There are well known physical mechanisms which we understand that show increased CO2 CAUSES increased temps. It may very well be true that increased temps (caused by solar cycles for example) also drive CO2 as a result of biological activity or chemical cycles. So what? The situation we have now is that human driven CO2 levels have finally started to drive global temps in a noticeable amount. We don't seem to have the problem of human driven temps resulting in increased CO2. I suppose in theory that might be a concern if we had enough fusion reactors running on the planet that we could actually heat up the atmosphere. We don't, so it is a totally useless point.
