These guys are ignoring the outlying past 50 years where C02 inexplicably breeched the upper control limits of the data and stayed there. What could have caused that? If increased CO2 levels follow temperature increases, as these guys suggest, then why have we not seen dramatic temperature increases prior to the rise in CO2 levels in the past 50 years? I took graduate level statistics courses a couple decades ago and continually use statistics in my current job. I would love to see this guys statistical analyses. I bet you there is a flaw in his analyses and conclusions.

Do a quick thought experiment. What causes heat? A release of energy. What causes a release of energy? Well, industrial processes for one. What is released along with heat energy? Gases...CO2 gases for one.

Do you typically see heat energy released prior to turning on your industrial plant or afterwards? That's a no brainer. If the machinery is not turned on, it is not generating heat. When it turns on, it generates heat and gases and expels them into the atmosphere.

Common sense dictates this guy's analysis doesn't pass the smell test. But guys like this can be hired for a dime a dozen to provide enough misinformation to confuse the masses. Good job longnshort. You play just like Rove and Cheney do. Misdirection and confusion is the best weapon in the budding dictator's arsenal.
