I'm also fond of Anansi- but taking the name of a God seemed hubris :-) Iktomi is a shapeshifter, and at most a demi-God... I'm a nameshifter PS- I'm glad you liked my rumination on Iraq. I was pretty depressed about the whole thing when I wrote it, and my mood is not improved at all.
