Probably would have thrown in the towel earlier, but couldn't find a buyer for that large a position. Paul Allen's investment has to be seen as continued confidence in the company and the future. Even though $15 million is small change for Allen, it still is a noticeable investment -- might have to forgo the 16th yacht or something. :D The impact on MCOM is a psychological boost; no additional funds go to MCOM. We have to wait for the debt financing deal to have real dollars hit the treasury. The question I have at this point is what Paul Allen is planning for the future? Does he want a majority of the shares? Or all of the shares? At 33%, he effectively controls the voting power, so he can direct the future of this company, I would think, even at that level of ownership. Anyone from Los Angeles monitoring this forum? I'd like to hear from someone on the ground (as we used to say in the Army) as to what's happening down there with Riccochet. The company tells me that they now have 60% of the right of ways they want in LA. They plan to start marketing when they have coverage of 1 million people. I just want to hear from someone down there who is using the service, either on a campus or as a beta test site to get a feel for how it's going. Rex
