Goldman Sachs analyst Henry King noted in a report issued by the company on November 24 that motherboard shipments may shrink by 1% on quarter and 8% on year to 29.8 million units in the fourth quarter. King said that the market is "overlooking" the weakness in fourth quarter motherboard shipments and that the upcoming quarter should also be below the historical average.
