JCP, that's sad, how Ben Stein is now joining the millions of "fiscally conservative Democrats" who think spending can't be cut because of entitlements, and who think taxes have to be raised on the "rich."

Counting federal, state, and local taxes, the marginal tax rates for high income earners is around 50%. Of course the truly rich are going to dodge that rate and put their money away in tax shelters. Some of these same rich guys like Warren Buffet are now bemoaning the fact that they can and will dodge taxes? How about we first do away with said tax shelters?

Meanwhile, I'm told on a weekly basis that I'm "rich." Yep, "rich" enough to get screwed over by taxes, but not rich enough to dodge them.
